2. bhairavi has 2 dhaivathams..D1(during aarohanam) and D2(during avarohanam)...
the nishaadham is a special buty to the raga..may be thats y it has some special charm...i don know!! sometimes i wish i knew the technicalities of each raga! i wish i could dismantle..dissect..identify..analyse! but then i also feel it doesnt make me that ignorant innocent music lover but rather a critic...but then i stil feel i shd learn the basics of swara artangements which might make me a better music lover! (greed!!!)
stumbled upon this gr8 blog...
the writer has posted some butiful krithis in bhairavi!!! tha
nks to net...
now i get music at the clikc of a button ... not like those olden days where i used to run to musicworld and speand hrs dreaming abt those costly cds..
what a fierce ragam..it jus pierces into your heart!!!
i get similar a feeling with thodi, madhyamavaati..
eventually i found there are millions of emotional music freaks like me..one example..
Salutations to Guru Dikshithar...who composed 7 krithis in this raga..
and for swarajathi by Shri shyama shastri..and my fav krithi yaro ivar yaro by shri arunachala kavi...

signing off for now! gotta listen more tracks on bhairavi..
buhbye

When I found your blog mentioning about my blog in connection with bhairavi, I went through your entire blog. Few moments,I was feeling like riding a horse, and few moments I was feeling like sailing in a boat and all your words are bubbling with enthusiasm and was like music. I can feel your age in your writing, and please keep it up. You can write like this only when you are at this age. ( How much I wish to go back to that age!)All the best to you in whatever you attempt.
